Bioimaging and Nucleic Acid Engineering Postdoctoral
Scholar
The Pierce Lab at Caltech seeks a postdoctoral
scholar (or senior postdoctoral scholar) to develop new
molecular mechanisms for in situ amplification in biological
imaging. The work will involve strong rational design and bioimaging
components and collaborative efforts with the Fraser bioimaging
lab, Bronner-Fraser developmental biology lab and Megason zebrafish
lab at Caltech. Applicants should have a PhD and a strong publication
record in bioimaging or biomolecular engineering. A CV and three
reference letters are required. The appointment is for one year
with the possibility of renewals. Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Please

Postdoctoral Scholar THE
CEGS GROUP AT CALTECH SEEKS A POST-DOCTORAL SCHOLAR to join our
FlipTrap screen as part of our zebrafish developmental genetics
group. The work will involve screening and characterizing
zebrafish embryos using a novel fluorescent imaging based insertional
screen. The applicant should have a strong background in development
and genetics, preferably in zebrafish. Click
here to apply. posted 10/06
Postdoctoral Scholar THE
CEGS GROUP AT CALTECH SEEKS A POST-DOCTORAL SCHOLAR to join our
in-vivo imaging group. This work will focus on developing
improved methods for imaging deep into live zebrafish embryos
while maintaining high resolution, high speed, and minimal phototoxicity
for time-lapse microscopy. The applicant should have previous
experience with confocal and two-photon microscopy. Click
here to apply. posted 10/06
Postdoctoral Scholar THE
CEGS GROUP AT CALTECH SEEKS A POST-DOCTORAL SCHOLAR to join our
image analysis group. This work will involve developing
novel methods to segment and track cells in large image sets
and to integrate this data in to a "Digital Fish".
The applicant should have a strong background in mathematics,
computer science, and computer vision (segmentation/registration). Click
here to apply. posted 10/06
